The Beginning
The feeling of hopelessness so deep,
I can barely, gasp, for air
The suffocating feeling of my defeat
I try to show all the feelings that aren't there,
Seeing the white light vanish,
As if I am falling, into a deep ,abyss,
There is no escaping your own mind
And I have, accepted this,
The flow of blood that my soul needs,
The color, red ,so sweet,
The thoughts that are in my head,
For my life, I will never complete,
The yearning for death,
Gnaws, at the pit ,of my heart,
But I give it one more night,
And this, is what, I got ,
the light then grew brighter,
I shrug, shyly ,away,
But you reached, out your hand,
To grab me, from these treacherous depths,
The kindness, and the happiness,
That, you showed me, that night,
Told me, I could take a chance,
And give it a few more nights,
The yearning began to go away,
As you kindly ,asked ,for my hand,
Death, then started to disappear,
And I began to understand,
The hopelessness, turned its back on me,
As I began, to turn my face towards the light,
Defeat had not yet overcome me,
So then we, began ,the fight.
